Office Drywall Partitions & Ceiling Works

The brief

An office needed new partition walls and ceiling works while its furniture stayed on site.

Our approach

• Desks, cabinets and equipment were wrapped in plastic sheeting before work began.
• Gypsum board partitions were built on metal studs and fixed on both sides.
• Every joint and screw head was taped and filled in layers, ready for skim coat and paint.
• A plaster ceiling bulkhead was formed alongside the existing grid ceiling, with an access panel for the services above and openings for the linear lighting.

The result

Straight, smooth partition walls and a clean bulkhead line, ready for the final paint finish.
