Bathroom False Ceilings, Jointing & Skim Coat

The brief

New bathrooms with stone-look wall tiles needed flat, clean ceilings with downlights, exhaust grilles and access to the services above.

Our approach

• Gypsum board ceilings were fixed to a levelled metal frame.
• Openings were cut for downlights, exhaust grilles and the access panels, in the positions agreed with the electrician.
• Joints and screw heads were taped and filled, then the whole ceiling was skim coated and sanded.

The result

Seamless ceilings ready for paint, with the lights and access panels lined up neatly.
